Enrollment

  • Controlled Open Enrollment

A parent/guardian from any school district in the state may enroll his or her child in our charter school if the school has not reached capacity.

  • Capacity

    We strive to keep class sizes in grades K-3 at 18, and grades 4-5 at 22. If enrollment of a student puts that grade above the preferred class size, consideration will be taken as to education and standards not being impacted by class size.

  • Registration

Preferential treatment in the enrollment process will be given to:

  1. Students residing in Byrneville, Century, McDavid, and Bratt.;

  2. Students whose parent/guardian is an employee of the school and/or member of the Byrneville Board of Directors;

  3. Dependent children of active duty military personnel whose move resulted from military orders;

  4. Children who have been relocated due to a foster care placement; and

  5. Children who move due to a court ordered change in custody due to separation or divorce, or the serious illness or death of a custodial parent.
